NKBA Conference 2008
PPG Industries congratulates the NKBA on a successful conference, which this year was incorporated with the Auckland Home Show. Congratulations also to the winners of the various design awards, especially Glen Johns of New Plymouth for his Kitchen of the Year. PPG is sponsoring Glen as he travels to Atlanta, Georgia in the USA, in April next year to the International Kitchen Design Awards and wish him every success.

PPG Industries New Zealand has had a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the NZ National Kitchen and Bathroom Association and took the opportunity this year to promote to its members the advantages of using PPG's PSX engineered siloxane as the preferred coating choice in designer kitchens and bathrooms.

There was considerable interest in this paint finish which is not only cleaner and greener than conventional finishes, but offers outstanding performance characteristics as well. Sample cabinet panels on display at the conference enabled designers to not only see the gloss and colour range available but to feel the smooth finish and appreciate that with the high opacity coverage, the applied costs of this superior coating for wood is very competively priced.
